Well Now

The last bill from my surgery arrived today... compared to C's birth these bills are reasonable. It is crazy how much money has left our accounts this year. Buying a house, having surgery, and car repairs.

Today was a good day spent mostly with my mother as Hubs was MIA (out with college buddies). Mom's are amazing people!

My dad sent me a silly photo of my little man today that made me laugh.

Hmm... what else is new... I've officially unpacked everything and hosted our first party. (M's college grad party).

Honestly I think my life is a little bit boring. OH! I brought my flowers back from the dead, I used my new clothes line 4 times, and I planted tomatoes.... I guess those are note worthy things. But that right there is my life guys. I'm excited about hanging my baby's laundry outside, I've forced some green to stick to my thumb and managed not to kill everything, and I have tomato plants in the ground. My tomato plants have one tiny green tomato each at the moment.

I guess also note worthy I had my first full 24 hours without my husband around. It wasn't a disaster... We survived and actually had some fun. Though bedtime was a bit strange.

I'll leave you with the cute :)

Destressing

Well here we are exactly one week after moving the stuff into our house and I've unpacked all but one box. That stupid box sitting within arms reach of the computer. Oh that box... I've stared at that box willing it to go away :-/ I really need to unpack that box.

:) Yesterday we had 2 of Josh's brothers over for a couple hours. It was a lot of fun and tonight M and his fiance K are coming over for dinner. Josh is currently cooking said dinner while baby C sleeps and I'm hiding away in our 'office' on the computer :) I love Saturdays!

What big things have happened this week? Hmm... C has officially tried to eat food -lol- I think more Avocado ended up on my floor, his outfit, his face, his arms, etc than in his mouth but I did notice some coming out the other end -LOL- the joys of cloth diapering

5months into this cloth diaper thing and I would NEVER go to disposables! NEVER! We had talked about buying them for our 2 days in Indiana for M+K's wedding but after spending 3 days in the hospital with cloth diapers we realized that we can pretty much handle anything at this point :) That was the one upside to my extended hospital stay. We have yet to receive a bill (not that I'm complaining), but I'm VERY curious to see how much it is going to cost me :(

And Hubs is calling for me to help him with dinner now, I guess he doesn't like cooking for 4 all by himself. Men!

kisses :-*

One of the last days in our old place. I'm glad he waited to crawl until we were in our new house that has 2sets of stairs :-/ LOL
