Well 3/5 of the Hartzler 'boys' are now married... WOW!
The wedding was a 4.5hr drive away. I'm surprised how well baby C did during the drive. He got cranky and I might have been in the car holding him while we were driving for a bit but honestly it wasn't too bad.
Cam in his carseat playing with the lightening bug :)
The three of us in the car.
Once we arrived we checked into our hotel for a bit before heading off for the rehearsal and dinner. Our room was really nice and eventually it would become like a train station with people coming and going... CRAZYNESS!

Not a lot of photos from the rehearsal as I was occupied with the baby. It was a lot of fun and thankfully INDOORS! It was 113 outside. Another reason there are so few photos would be because the Father of the Groom got a FLAT tire! So I had to run from the hotel to the church, to the cabin a bunch. At least it was for a good cause!
The whole family decided that after the rehearsal dinner (no pictures), we wanted to go swimming. My son has never seen a pool but he LOVES bathtime. We were really excited to see how he would do in the pool. I think I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
Just encase you didn't realize it... HE LOVED IT!!! Seriously from the moment we put his feet in the water to test the temp he was in love! We thought maybe it was a bit cold but he didn't want to get out. There was also a hot tub, which we put his feet into but he didn't like it (too hot). I'm so glad we spent the $9 to buy him the outfit to swim in :) And thankfully the cloth diapers fit the 'guidelines' for babies in the pool. Seriously I've mentioned that i love cloth diapers right???
After swimming we went back to the rooms, girls into my room, boys in the the other room. The girls decided to go to Walmart, and Taco Bell. It was a fun filled night, Ash painted my toe nails. I think it is called a french manicure... We tried the new Crunch Girl Scout Candy Bars = HEAVEN! and brought back a TON of Mt. Dew for the boys. The groom however called it quits around 2am and he needed to get up at 6:30. But before leaving, they all got to see C at his nighttime cuteness! I think he is cutest the hour before bed because he is SOOOO playful.
Cute right??
And the next morning we were stranded in our hotel as I gave my keys to my FIL to get his tire fixed. Not that we minded being able to sleep until 10am :) But that is when things got CRAZY!!! We were the only ones in the hotel that had gotten a room for 2 nights so at 10am our room went from 3 guests to 10!!! 4 of the boys took showers, while I ironed all the outfits for the wedding. It was a crazy afternoon and from 11-12:30 we had a lunch provided by the Hooley family (Bride's famliy).
Hours away from the wedding now... I thought I was going to swim and possibly nap. But I was up and doing something all afternoon. Hubs and the boys left the room a total DISASTER area! So i cleaned, got myself ready, and got the baby ready. No easy feat as I had to shave in there!! lol but it all got done and we were on time for Famliy photos. Then it was off to the wedding!!!
Wedding:
And there you have it.... the wedding :) We left a bit early :( But C had enough of the heat and was really getting cranky. He wouldn't let anyone but Mom hold him and in 100 degree weather I didn't need a little furnace attached to my hip all night. The food was AMAZING! The people were spectacular. I'm so excited to have another girl in the family. I just love K to pieces. And I will always remember how welcoming M was when I first met the Hartzler family. He was so young then, it is a bit odd that he is married but I couldn't have asked God for a better person for him!
Thanks for going on this journey with me, I hope you enjoyed the photos.
